MORE FESTIVAL HONORS

We are thrilled to report that Athenia’s Last Voyage was honored March 8th  with the Indie Spirit Award at the 2025 Idyllwild International Cinema Festival. The judges told us the award recognizes the important message our film delivers about the human spirit in times of conflict and the importance of remembering that everyday men and women can be heroes too.

In the afterglow of our Idyllwild recognition, we received word that our documentary has been accepted as an Official Selection for the 2025 Massachusetts Independent Film Festival. The festival will be held April 25th and 26th in Southbridge, MA. It will be an opportunity for East Coast documentary filmgoers to see our story of the passenger ship torpedoed by a Nazi submarine of Sept. 3, 1939, at the start of WWII.
